I just can't get excited the same way to Own Nothing. Things like this just become ethereal things you have access to, and they can fade away outside of your control. It feels less like media and more like food, and that's weird.

I don't talk about it much, but it really is psychically damaging to receive the incredible amount of harassment that comes with transitioning publically. I really don't like being the object of others' vast cruelty and it is exhausting keeping up the composure to not descend into cruelty myself.

I've seen more people talking down on it. Not just from people who prefer the PS1 but so-called "game historians" who claim it didn't do anything innovative.
