Show PostCongratulations to Kirsty Green on passing her viva! Kirsty’s PhD, supervised by Prof. Sotaro Kita, explored how iconicity - when a word or gesture resembles what it means - supports early communication. She found caregivers using iconic words sparked greater engagement from infants.
