Of course, it’s hard to separate individual from team success.. Just sayin that when evaluating QBs, the easiest way to differentiate is if they have the ability to put the team on their back to get a win.. Herbert and Nix have both done that, but only one has in the playoffs..

I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm not saying Herbert is bad or anything just that Nix has a similar ceiling.

I wish more national media people engaged in more nuanced discussions on ceiling at the QB position. This would drive smarter discussions among fans. The QB's football intelligence, competitiveness and mental make up have more to do with their ceiling than physical tools.

I don't think he's significantly more talented than Nix and Hebert has played for 6 seasons. I think we've seen his ceiling where we haven't with Nix
