Tonight would be great if Wirtz and Barcola could bag / assist. Get the job done by 65/70mins and rest some for Sat. #LFC
Show PostAgreed. The Wirtz I watched at Leverkusen was operating in the opposition half much more, that’s where he is a menace. I don’t feel we are dominating the ball to make him effective enough yet. It’s improved though. Seen in patches, Atletico at home being one example, Forest he was good too.
Show PostGiven Cherki has created 74 chances with 14 assists, Flo 71 with 4, it does feel like his team mates need to step up and finish some off. Fine margins in this game but Cherki has settled players around him, mostly, we are still building. Interesting though.

Not to belabor the point but Rio, Trey, Koumas, McConnell all out there doing the Academy proud. Remember this, friends. We've got more Yutes coming up the ranks. Give them a chance.
