Nine years ago today the greatest woman I ever knew and loved passed on just shy of her 90th birthday. When I was a young boy in hospital she would sit by my bedside and hold my hand to comfort me. So in her final hours it was my great honour to do the same for her. RIP mum 💜

In young adulthood whilst patrolling his beat as a police officer he struck up a convo with a British Naval officer who invited him aboard for tea. That officer was later known as Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
