Even more so, it is highly disrespectful to your users/customers. That is the part that baffles me. Slopforking introduces high security risk, bugs, and dead maintenance in the long run. The modern day state of IT is akin to a child who traces a picture on a glass and thinks he drew it.

Can we all agree that slopforking is just unethical and disrespectful to the original authors? Doesn’t matter if it’s from source or reverse engineered. Competition is good, but so is maintenance and acknowledgement. Reverse engineering is an impressive feat, but not if it’s without effort.
