People with schizophrenia know how like them those of us with psychotic bipolar 1 like me are. And we know how like them we are. Our illnesses are both severely disabling. People with schizophrenia have to deal with the burden of some of society's heaviest stigma coming with their diagnosis on top.

Looking forward to seeing whether & how the new mayors of San Francisco & Portland Oregon will deal with the critical issues of mental health, addiction, social disfunction & homelessness in their cities. Both are pledging early, impactful actions.
