#FluorescenceFriday image from UAB undergraduate Aditya Pradeep, with @odrake.bsky.social. Red = tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) protein Cyan = DAPI TH is the rate-limiting step in the synthesis of dopamine, and is densely expressed in axon terminals from midbrain dopamine neurons in the rat striatum.
