Johnny would just smile with teeth far too sharp and not-so-jokingly tells him that either Simon would agree to be his mate, or he’d join the countless others who refused their selkie spouse at the bottom of the ocean. Simon refuses to admit how much a threat from his husband turns him on.

I feel like after Simon learns all this, he would jokingly mention that for all Johnny knew he might have picked a deadbeat who would leave him alone and pregnant. After all there’s no guarantee a baby would make him stick around. He wouldn’t, but I mean, Johnny’s plan to secure him has its holes.
