At age 15 I snuck out on a school night and saw the Violent Femmes play supporting the Hallowed Ground album w maybe 100 other lucky souls. Top 10 gig in my life. This morning my kid wore a Violent Femmes t-shirt to school. She bought it after hearing the album in my truck. Proud Dad moment indeed
