Catnip is the one thing that is exclusively marketed as fucking your cat up, like it is solely marketed as “you are giving your cat drugs, your cat wants the drugs, it will get them high as hell”
Show PostCan you tell I just took my meds.
Show PostAnd to be clear I LOVE a good death in a story. I don’t like the idea that killing off characters- even gratuitously, is always just pointlessly edgy. It just has to be done thoughtfully.
Show PostLike, if u say “This character was killed for no reason.” People will be like “Well death doesn’t always have a reason, that’s just life.” If you’re telling a story, everything should have a narrative reason. How did we get to this point, and how does it impact the story going forward?
Show PostThat isn’t to say deaths should be easily predictable, either. I just feel like an actions = consequences approach works better bc what’s “realistic” doesn’t matter as much as having a narrative, unless that cruel realism is a theme of the story.
