This is why I can't be left on my own. I stay up until 4am reading, I subsist on coffee and milk tea, bagels and cheesecake and I do things like walk a couple of miles in the blistering sun.

Decision fatigue is real. Try picking something completely different tonally, if you just read a heavy classic, maybe a P.G. Wodehouse for contrast.
