Husband showed up and was alarmed I was crying and all I could think was, "you missed it, this thing just happened and you missed it and it restored my hope for humanity." We left but they were still hugging and I woke up in the middle thinking about them. Best baggage claim ever.

I have not heard Choosin’ Texas because… I haven’t heard most hit songs the last ten years or so? Does Top 40 radio even exist anymore? I’m 45, they still play 80s hits at the grocery store and all the parties my neighbors throw play rap music and banda. I’m not being a snob, the world is different.

This is Maeve. She may be the sweetest, most good natured, most trusting dog I have ever met. She was abandoned in DC last week, and since I’m not able to adopt a dog now, I had to turn her over to the Brandywine Animal Shelter. I want to make sure this absolute delight of a dog finds a good home.
