Show PostVal Travenanzes is wider in the upper part close to Forc. Col dei Bos. Down in the valley between Tofane an Lagazuoi it gets more narrow, and naturally there‘s no way to avoid a big rockfall. Dolomit is brittle anyway, and rockfalls/landslides happen often.
Show PostWhen I started my hike today, I read this sign about a big rockfall, happened Oct. 4th. Exactly 1 month earlier I hiked through Val Travenanzes. Also mentioned briefly the difficult path Cengia Paolina, which is officially closed anyway. #hiking
