Last night I dreamt I was going to play in a local football match and was making a shopping list of the kit I needed, but didn't know what colour shirt to buy. It would be one of the most unlikely things I'd ever do.

Like elsewhere, Suffolk volunteer firefighters are being kept very busy. Yesterday 80 hectares of a cereal crop was destroyed. It's not spontaneous combustion that causes these fires. It's cigarette butts, disposable barbecues, and cars parked over dry vegetation.
