I don't trust that this paper accurately reports its steps to produce its figures, that if one followed those steps one could reproduce those figures, or even that the author understands the meaning of terms they are using. Without trust, this "paper" is not worth the bytes it occupies.

If you read scientific results back around ~Bacon, you will see phrases like "X gentleman witnessed this experiment" because unless everyone repeats everyone else's work themselves, building on each others' work requires trust in the reporting.
