This is why regular people don’t want to run for office. People have attacked AOC for years of how “really privileged” she was, now just dragging dirt on this guy. God forbid anyone wants to fix the problems, better be super clean if they’re on the left. if they’re GOP? Who cares- anything goes.

I really respect you Chris. I’ve listened to you for years. As a Mainer who’s exhausted with bs takes on Platner‘s past and personal life and virtually no conversation on his policy positions, especially vs Collins’, this interview is beyond disappointing. Let Mainers choose and stay out of it.

Platner certainly has baggage but the hamd wringing and freaking out is starting to remind me of the Al Franken disaster. It's as if people don't understand what's actually at stake here.

Watched the interview. He answered all the questions and didn't dodge any. He owned up to being a shitty boyfriend in the past and his own demons. Ain't no one commenting here or in Congress a saint and you shouldn't be looking for one. The country is on fire. Flipping the Senate is a must. Just win
