My first civil eng job I was laid off early on day 4. The project I was hired for went belly up on day 2 Thankful for the detour. I moved on to several jr positions over next few years. Then to my current firm. Yesterday, I celebrated my 30th work anniversary. It’s now all about the next gen ✌️

Shoutout to my middle school Patriot Ledger route for teaching me capitalism early. Biking at 5 AM alone just to go door-to-door, get yelled at, and routinely get stiffed on a few bucks owed to me by delinquent adults.
