Today I ran the furthest distance I've ever covered in my life, 57.88 miles, from Glasgow to Edinburgh, in 12h47m49s. It was the most physically demanding feat I've ever undertaken. I'm delighted to have proved I can do it, but, my god, parts of today severely punished my body and mind!

You either have bus lanes that are clearways or pointless paint in the road. Enforce them or abandon them. My perception is buses move more slowly in Edinburgh than any other city I visit regularly, including London.
