Did not follow Arday story, when it popped up I could never get to the bottom of why it was getting so much airtime. What a terrible tragedy for him, his family & friends. Eye of the storm is close to unbearable for those of us allowed to acclimatise, unimaginable for those who face it suddenly

Perhaps we ought to take a moment to reflect on how many white male cishet privately educated non disabled men have been given jobs and promoted without question based on fabricated CVs, unfounded self-confidence and an embellished life story & whether we’ve even heard of them.

Jason Arday shadowed me a number of years back - he was quiet, thoughtful and respectful. The way he has been hounded to his death is shocking. Whatever the details of his past, he did not deserve this.
