I think start with the most contentious case, and the rest fall out from there. Say you replace the game director like 6mo before ship on a 3-year project. How do you recognize their contribution and the new director's? IMO either of these is clear and respectful of both:

i judge for a few festivals, and i can safely say that the games that always stand out the most are ones with personal creative care taken in every aspect of the game. people say AI should replace this but you can’t automate intentionality or love. if you bank on that then you don’t understand art.

Here's a fun fact for you: A HUGE amount of vancouver's midsized and up (30+ employees) gamedev scene was built by former AAA employees left behind when vancouver and toronto got into a tax-break bidding war and all the AAA companies abruptly packed up and left when toronto won.
