Check out Frost Nova: a new ability that damages and slows down enemies. If the damage done by frost nova kills an enemy, they are frozen in an Ice Tomb that you can shoot and explode, doing even more damage to nearby enemies. #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #UE5

Someone asked me how I made the ice crystals - here's my behind-the-scenes process from #houdini to in-game. With this setup I can produce a completely unique game-ready asset in about 5-10 minutes. These meshes fracture really well and make for great destructibles. #UE5 #gamedev #indiedev
