I can always infer how Fox News is framing a topic because it's parroted by my MAGA in-laws. I think the latest must be "The Department of Education was a waste of taxpayer funds because test scores haven't improved since it was created in 1979. That's false. Look at "the Nation's Report Card".

Combating misinformation is more important than ever. NOAA funds the data. The satellites, buoys, stations, aircraft, AUVs, models and more for data that underpins all forecasts and official warnings and alerts. If anything the NWS needs more staff. 🧪 NOAA and its partners need our support.
