Adjacent to this, more people need to know that artists, authors, zine makers, etc, are all paying for their tables (and stock, hotels, travel, food) to vend at conventions. They aren't staff, they aren't earning an hourly wage to be there, they're paying to be there.
Show PostLike, begging for y'all to stop smack-talking art for sale at cons IN FRONT OF THE ARTIST, wtf is wrong with you? Have you forgotten how to behave in public? Do you think the artist is an NPC? Do you think they're a shopkeeper?! Stop being so fucking rude to people who made art and pay for tables!
