On a crisp sunny day, I didn't mind the 40-odd-minute walk from Lime Street Station. But, as @ryanhermanesq.bsky.social, author of the acclaimed Iconic Football Grounds, points out I might not feel that way on a wet Wednesday. I adored the Bramley-Moore Dock setting (and The Bramley Moore pub too).
