We are expected to keep our kids healthy in a climate catastrophe, without sufficient health care, during a time of violence and fascism, where the world is ruled by technofascists and oligarchs (which my teen says I pronounce incorrectly).

I maintain that most parents are out there trying to raise their kids in difficult circumstances where teen bodies are essentially criminalized. We love our kids. We want to do our best. But that's a very dull story because the answer is structural.
