There was a section by Baschurch that took well over a year to fix. It just had temporary lights to make it single file traffic.

That doesn't worry me too much. Designed and implemented correctly, mini carriages would cross the A5 extremely quickly and be no more of an issue than the existing roundabouts. Trams and cars happily co-exist across the globe. Why not #Shropshire?

Living in Whittington I can say that since the roundabout upgrades at Mile End & Gledrig congestion between the two at the Gobowen & Whittington roundabouts has got significantly worse, and traffic on the 'old A5' has increased. Anything slowing traffic down further will make it worse on both counts
