I rarely plug work outside Oregon State Beavers on SI or my Portland Fire site portlandsupporter.com, but Hythloday's film studies are *that good*. The detail. The analogies. "Randy Moss couldn't have caught this ball". If you read this piece, you'll learn a lot about Beaver football in 2025.

I have a lot of friends from my time on the Oregon beat. I have immense respect for all of them. I think it's really funny that the *best* Oregon beat writer works under a self-deprecating reference to Sir Thomas More's "Utopia". Hythloday is 1-of-1. Listen to the link and you'll see what I mean.
