I’m not certain “outsourcing all the jobs to cheaper overseas destinations once the inefficient family companies are taken out of their hands” is what America really needs—but there’s absolutely plenty of opportunities for other badly needed efficiencies (e.g. not getting fleeced by vendors).

It's disheartening to see the largest publications in the nation not cite original reporting from independent/individual reporters. Not one mention of @marisakabas.bsky.social's work in ID'ing Tommy. Instead, the WSJ implies that Tommy came forward himself. Disingenuous, at best.
