It's one of those numbers that look big, until you consider what it's in relation to. About 70m people in UK. Dividing £100 million equally would give each person approximately £1.50. The story refers to 2.5 million unclaimed prizes, so an average of £40. Versus how much in unclaimed benefits?

The table in there claims that there are 2,467 pubs in Bath (and 4,671 in Leeds). There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with those numbers.
