I've been editing interview tape for 24 years but today, for the first time, I'm confronted with a background cuckoo clock. Fortunately, the subject says, "Oh there goes my cuckoo clock." I don't want to edit out all moments with cuckoos but I want to tighten some, which can throw off rhythm. Hard.
