Today's #Mechtober is all about @michaelastackpole.bsky.social, who has been a friend and mentor for close to 20 years. He's the one who brought me into BattleTech. His books in the universe are incredible and sharing stories and covers with our names is something I never thought possible.

Victor was my favourite #Battletech character from when I was a kid, and in terms of classical era characters, is still my favourite. He was such a favourite of mine, I named my first pet, a dwarf-hamster after him. Just to say, @michaelastackpole.bsky.social has influenced me for like, 30+-years.
