Still, I wouldn't trade living as a man for anything else in the world. With how I am now, I have the ability to reflect over my place in society from different angles based on lived experience, and my choices are driven by this. 4/4

It's a weird feeling to explain, but I feel both as if I'm "failing" at being a man, yet at the same time I become *so incredibly aware* that I occupy space differently: I can be perceived as a threat by just walking outside at night. It feels like I'm between two places, and it's uncomfortable. 3/4

Like, yeah, "he" is one of my pronouns, and I identify as a guy, but like... Whatever, y'know? Sorry for bothering, haha... And then a store clerk calls me "young man," even when my hair reaches my shoulders and I'm like... Huh... I didn't expect that. Why, though? It feels undeserved. 2/4

It's weird how gender dysphoria will still just, be there. Even after gender-affirming care, which can be medical or not, it'll still be there. Not gone, just muted. At least a little bit. I have this weird relationship with my gender where I never really expect someone to take it seriously. 1/4
