We just hit 210 citations on our open access scoping review article. It is great to see this research is being used by others as it is a topic that can be uncomfortable to discuss and interact with on the whole. doi.org/10.1177/1609...

That's not to say UKRI can't learn from this. Nor to say that this isn't a significant issue. It is a defining issue in grant funding right now. This use of AI is anathema to peer review. Peer review is an integral part of research. It develops both the research and reviewer.

Grant holders frequently break terms and conditions of funding. Sometimes by accident, sometimes through ignorance and sometimes through malice. UKRI then respond accordingly. You don't normally get to hear about it, and there doesn't tend to be a backlash on UKRI. (read next post too)
