starting to realize that younger gens think older people grow out of being online because they do see the much older gen not online But the older gen didn't grow up with being online. They grew up with their own unique hobbies that most still do to this day.

my grandpa was a woodworker in his teens and he's still a woodworker to this day. it's his favorite hobby. He consistently found joy in it so he never "grew out of it". If he'd grown up with the internet and found joy in that too, I'm sure he'd also still be online interesting thing to think about

You don't have to "grow out" of things that bring you joy. keep that in mind, it makes life more fun
