The 10,000 titles figure is extra funny because I assume it's bullshit math based on the raw total number of volumes published period or something and while it was clearly picked in an attempt to sound impressive to someone ignorant, it just makes that math worse the larger it is. Too funny, dude.

I'm sorry, I can't get over how bad the optics of this math are. Why would you not say "X published series" instead, which surely must number in the high three digits at most, right??? At least with that average, you actually front like you break even without admitting "we make $1500 every time." 😵‍💫

You don't need me to tell you to avoid anything these people do or put out with a 10,000-foot pole, but as somebody who's written some copy in his day, I dunno that I would put the numbers $15,000,000 and 10,000 right next to each other so people can do the math on how bad you are at making money.

"How was your day today, Jordan?" Well I came home from a double shift at work and immediately ate an entire can of apple pie filling if that gives you any clues.

Anyway this is your reminder to stop reading a headline and assuming that headline is the truth and is not actually just a sensational take to get you to either "click" or "spread it" so that things go further without anyone actually reading the content.
