Whewwww this is a word. It seems adoptive parents don’t typically question if they are the right choice as parents. It’s all about if it’s the right child. And I think the experience of adoptees having to integrate into a new family is one that allows parents to not consider if they are right. 🥚

i get really emotional these days both because my children are reaching these moments in their lives and also because i, an #adoptee not raised by my parents, get to be involved in raising my own children. it’s all a bit much to take in.
