In Paris, the uprising continues. On October 18, masses of people once again took to the streets. Crowds gathered at Place de la République and in the surrounding streets, erecting barricades as police deployed large amounts of tear gas. 🧵

People didn't know about the Tulsa Race Riots until The Watchmen came out. Most people don't know about the MOVE bombing. We don't hold these in the collective consciousness the way other places do. For fuck's sake, we've accepted that kids being shot at school is just something that happens.
