Whenever I have to travel more than 4 hours away for work I book a premier inn and say it's too far to drive there and back in a day. I claim the hotel on expenses. I always cancel the hotel and drive back on the same day and have a free day off the next day.

I work for a major hotel chain, on duty for the breakfast buffet. When gluttony is licensed in this way you see the worst of humanity. I've seen volumes of bacon consumed that should not be medically possible.

At the start of 2011 I had a £2k windfall and decided to spend it all on cocaine from the Dark Web. I partied every weekend and it lasted me almost 6 months. But if I'd just kept the Bitcoin I had to purchase to make the transaction, today they'd be worth £281m. Still haunts me.
