They just get wrinkly in Swedish. I've never heard a comparison to any dried fruit, but when I did a search just now apparently some Swedish people do compare them to raisins.

went to a family party this afternoon and found someone (friend of the family) knitting on the couch. I was wearing my PHM sweater; she was the first person to say "Oh! That's that sweater, from that movie, isn't it?" and then immediately asked to see the inside of the intarsia 😂
