Five years today since we moved off grid! No power bills. No water bills. It’s not always easy but it’s not all that hard, either. Feels pretty good!
Show PostMy grandpa was assigned by General Patton to rescue the Lipizzaner horses in WWII. After, he raised roans because they are great in battle, their coat doesn’t shine. He also said they are hard to show for the same reason and tend to be rare. At the field trip today Miles got paired with a blue roan.

Show PostThis is the only jewelry I wear. It’s not actually jewelry, it’s a cut off piece of copper pipe from building my tiny house. It took me 7 years to wear it out. James tried to fix the break where it wore thin but it broke again. The kids had the great idea to use epoxy. Now I have my ring back!

If you worked for 18F and got fired, Group together to start a consulting company. It’s just a matter of time before DOGE needs you to fix the mess they inevitably create. They will have to hire your company as a contractor to fix it. But on your terms. I’m happy to invest and/or help
