In short, bin dude was an absolute legend messing with the Satanic Panicked mothers all around the area. I had to re-buy the book a couple of years later, but my mother was forever convinced that the Architect of Evil himself was trying to force her to keep a commercially-available board game. END.

Several weeks into this, I was headed to school and saw the bin man take it out of the bin and find a spot to put it back near the house. He saw me, winked and went about his business. He must have been doing it all around the neighbourhood (friends had similar forced clean-outs/reappearances)…

Also tossed out was a Ouija board, complete with box. And every time she tried to throw it out, it would re-appear - sometimes on top of the empty bins, once in the open garage. I was, naturally accused, but legit had nothing to do with it. IT KEPT COMING BACK…
