Plein air painting at devils lake this weekend! I used oils with the zorn/apelles palette. It was really interesting painting with out a blue and it forced me to think a lot about values. I really enjoyed both working with oils and the limited pallet so I'm hoping do more of it soon! #art #pleinair

Golden hour light on eucalyptus is a classic California motif—I got to try my hand at it in this piece for the Catalina Island Conservancy’s show in October. The painting is 20x30” and I’m honored that it went to the home of a friend in Southern California. #oilpainting #california #landscape
