finally had the moment where i told a student who was saying he was "from the streets and had to fight the opps" that he lived in a suburb and to relax
Show Posti say this like i was anticipating and waiting for it but its more just "man just relax". being in education makes you seem incredibly irrationally angry towards 13 year olds but i also have the benefit of not having any respect given to me due to being a substitute teacher so. yknow
Show Postbeing a teacher is just going in to work at your job where 12 to 13 year olds test your mental endurance and i'm able to manage pretty well nowadays but sometimes i just get a little too annoyed and have to tell them to settle down
