Yesterday we walked in an emergency march of Palestinian and Jewish women in Jaffa after a racist and violent attack against Hanan Kh’imal, a Palestinian resident in her ninth month of pregnancy. Hanan was attacked with tear gas, pushed, and called racist slurs. (1/3)

Feminism is & should be two things: activism on behalf of real, embodied women suffering under patriarchy, & a political analysis of patriarchy, how it operates & how it can be resisted. There's been a lot of confusion between these two in the past decade or so, to the detriment of both.
