Labour MPs when they see Nazi's blocking ports: people with legitimate concerns Labour MPs when they see Catholics standing up for their community against hate and division: This is intolerable.
Show PostOff to see @stuhennigan.bsky.social talk about #Keshed tomorrow evening at Drakes bookshop in Stockton-on-Tees. Really looking forward to this lovely treat. Will be wonderful to hear Stu talk about his writing.
Show PostGreat night with @stuhennigan.bsky.social at @drakebookshop.bsky.social. Stu's one of my favourite writers and I could listen to him talk for hours. Fascinating to hear about the process behind - and hear him read from - his novel #Keshed (which I finished on Monday - brutal but brilliant!).
Show PostIt appears in 2026 we're back again with some insisting the novel must end at Middlemarch. Some days it's as though modernism never happened. This is the only work where you're requested to do it poorly to satisfy people's tame and dull appetites. We would never been this unambitious for visual art
Show PostUsually those protesting the most viciously...lack ambition and breadth in their own reading & writing. If you're looking for signposts & balance in a novel, you're not doing the work of a reader. You should be completing the novel uniquely in your own imagination not demanding reheated semolina
