About 9% of vehicles made in USA are exported. About half of those are sold to Canada. A further 30% go to Europe and 15% go to Mexico. Canada's shift to Chinese EVs are a serious (but not existential) blow to US auto sector. Depends on how able US workers are to buy more domestically.
