As the blog post notes, it is highly implausible that one can make a creditworhy contribution to a paper when one publishes one paper per week (according to my understanding of credit). This is disguised by praising such behavior as hyperprolific. 2/

Stop celebrating researchers with many publications rogue-scholar.org/records/dbgq... by @heidiseibold.bsky.social This is right on the point. One should also stop speaking of hyperprolific authors (www.nature.com/articles/d41...) In science, being prolific should not be judged by mere output. 1/
