The real outcome of the Alberta referendum is "we'll stay in Canada but we FUCKING HATE IMMIGRANTS and we have a mandate to make their lives miserable, try to stop us and we'll have another hissy fit." I can't celebrate that.

Five yrs ago, I drove to Watertown on short notice because a radio host who helped raise $28K, $1 at a time, to send the SD legis. to DC had "relics" to loan me. When I interviewed here, I learned he donated them to SDSU Archives. And five years later I'm a professor, using them. I love what I do.
