i think because it was a chemical explosive instead of like a proper percussive bomb. the only one hurt by it was a janitor who got some pretty nasty chemical burns. they didnt even cancel classes over it

my schools second floor fight club freshman year really overshadowed the fact we had a bomb go off in the cafeteria in that same time period like yeah that other one was a big deal but like i feel like the bomb was kind of underrated??
